The everlong search for the perfect foundation...

Recommended Posts

I've always used napoleon perdis cosmetics and been happy- I don't use foundation that much anyway, I just use the concealer on a daily basis (if i'm leaving the house). What I am looking for, however, is a foundation that fits the following requirements:

-is under $50 AU

-does not clog pores/is oil free/wont caus breakouts

-gives lightweight coverage

-has sheer-medium coverage

-has a matte finish (this is important. Many sheer foundations give dewy/sating finish, not good for acne sufferers!!)

- Is avaliable in pale shades

At the moment I'm considering l'oreal true match. any thoughts???

thanks!!

well if u don't mind powder: Make Up for Ever duo Matt. Its obviously matte!! oil free, has buildable coverage. so it can be sheer or medium depending on how u apply it, it covers redness, defiantly NOT dewy lol. i need matte too.

BUT if u want a liquid foundation, Make Up For Ever makes some greats ones! check out the site.

Oh and if u use the powder, its best to find a good primer, makes it go on smooth and last longer. looks more natural too!

Thanks for that. Do you know if make up for ever is avaliable in australia though? ordering online isn't really an option for me.

Yves Saint Laurent 14 hour last!!!!!

What's it like? Also what kind of cost would I be looking at? Sadly I'm lacking in funds at the mo
