Someone help me cause I'm freaking out here. If any of the pro active creams come in contact with your hair, would it cause them to turn white? I have long hair and I'm pretty sure I've many times ran my fingers through my hair to get it out of my face before having washed the creams off my hands. Now I have several individual white hairs along the sides of my head. Some of them which are very dry, brittle, and unstraight, like you'd expect hair to look on someone who was electrocuted. All of the colored hairs (dark brown) are uneffected. But all the white hairs are giving my hair a much duller overall color, and I'm 24 and obviously not wanting to hear that I'm already greying. Same deal with my facial hair, some of the hairs are completely white, and I do apply the creams over my facial hair, and I know that proactive bleaches my towels and shirts, turning them orange.

Thoughts?

It's from the Benzoyl peroxide used in proactiv. It bleaches stuff. Try to avoid getting it in your hair. Except facial hair, of course. That's unavoidable.
