Face does not sweat = Milia

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, first of all I'm going to bash accutane... not worth it. just eat right and you will be better. I've been through 2 courses of it and it has messed my body up... Even caused me to get acne.

Which brings me to the topic. Accutane has somehow damaged the sweat glands in (at least) my face, and I cannot sweat well. This makes my face break out in milia. I have tried everything to get rid of these: Paula's choice BHA, AHA, differin, epi-duo. I eat a very healthy diet with very little gluten and lots of vegetables and meat. In the summer, the milia seems to go away a little because I am outside running around and sweating all day, maybe unclogging some glands. I went to the sauna a couple times on vacation a couple weeks ago and that also seemed to help a little, but these things are just not going away. When I go to the dermatologist occasionally, she cauterizes them and they go away temporarily but some come back. Some of them get inflamed and turn into these weird sores that hurt alot and look really bad.

Has anyone ever had the same problem as me? Please help, these things bother the crap out of me.
