Hello! I've had a big cluster of whiteheads on my cheeks for a few years, and I've tried a lot of different products. I had a hard time figuring out what exactly they were until recently, I've had them for so long that it seems almost impossible, but I'm not giving up yet!

I have tried exfoliating, I've dropped my moisturizers that seem to be too oily, and I'm trying to start from scratch to figure out the problem.

They seem somewhat permanent sometimes, they're so bad about flattening, but every now and then something I try works out and they smooth out for a little while. I can never keep them that way, though, I can't keep a constant regimen because at the moment I can't afford a good line of skin products. I heard that Retin-A works really well with ridding skin of whiteheads, and I'm willing to spend a little money on it, but I would like some feedback first! I've had bad experiences with camellia oil and putting topical things on them, because they either become irritated or the skin on my cheeks gets even rougher and bumpier. So, I'm hoping Retin-A wouldn't do that..?

If any of you have anything else to recommend as well, that would be great! So, Retin-A, is it sufficient? and what else can I do to keep them away?

Thanks in advance!
