Glycolic Gel Peel 35%

Recommended Posts

Right now, I have awful skin. I'm almost 16 and I have problems with skin, Genetics. I'm so annoyed and pissed off about it. I have so many Acne scars on my one cheek and it was healing and didn't have a breakout on that spot for about a month, and now...I started to have break outs again. SO ANGRY so I bought Glycolic gel peel 35% off Amazon. i Just used it for my first time yesterday. Wasn't too bad.

It says I should use moistizer. I used Aloe Vera Gel after the peel, is that okay?

1. Can I use Aloe Vera Gel for a moisterizer?

2. Can I use benzoyl peroxide on my acne after I used it? (not right after, I moisterized it)

3. Can I use salicylic acid on my acne? Not after, like maybe 2 days after.

4. Can I use retin A, vitamin A and products that lighten the acne scars, pigments?

BTW, The questions I'm asking doesn't mean I'm going to use all at once. so I'm wondering, what is the best to apply on the acne/ acne scars after Glycolic Gel Peel.

Thank you so much, I really want better skin, I'm on summer break and my goal is to get better skin, I won't be going outside much. =( but hey...The ends justifies the means.

Take a look at the board titles and descriptions before posting.

I suggest searching the forums for those answers. I also suggest reading the information that came with the kit you ordered. Further questions can easily be directed to manufacturer.

1. You sure can. it doesnt moisturize as well as moisturizer but it soothes your irritated skin after a peel. Ive used aloe vera before and to be honest i dont think if it is any better or worse than using a traditional moisturizer. It certainly will work but you might want to have moisturizer also.

2. Id wait at least 24-48 hrs

3. I recommend you not. Use a glycolic acid toner but stop 24 hrs before and after a peel.

4. You shouldnt use retin-a while peeling. Vitamin A should be ok i think. But retin-a should make your spots lighter but i dont think vitamin A will do anything.

Sunscreen is a must before and after a peel if you are going outside. Also remember to start off leaving it on for only 1-4 minutes then gradually leave it on an extra minute every time you do it again.

You def going to get results but limit the peels to every two weeks. I would high recommand not using to harse products for at least 24 hours. I use to work for a dermatologist. (best job ever !!! now work for orthoped more $$ less perks) do some research you know what you skin type is like but used correctly gly acid in that form will give you mega results may take a year but your red marks will be gone!!!!!
