I'm f*ing 25 years old and Ive been dealing with this since I was 10. In the past few days, I've broken out in deforming red giants once again. I've been in accutane 2x, and spent thousands of dollars on other worthless crap. This has affected my social life, sex life, career, EVERYTHING. Why am I such a freak and when does this end??? F THIS.

Wait a minute, are you... me?

I'm 25 and I've been suffering from acne since I was 12-13. I've also been on accutane twice and spent truckloads of money on worthless crap. I am too wondering if I'm a freak and I'd like to know when this shiat will end. :wall:

Have you tried altering your diet? Maybe not by extreme measures, but finding out any food sensitivies, and avoiding those? Maybe an allergy skin prick test from an allergy specialist? This could potentially help.. you might be consuming foods that you are allergic too, which don't necessarily cause you to have hives, or an itchy mouth, etc.. but a skin breakout instead. Worth a shot?

I second that. Eliminating certain foods hasn't cured my acne but it does help. I notice that whenever I eat crap (a habit I'm trying to break but food is my drug of choice ) my skin breaks out. Getting an allergy test can do nothing but help. I know they're kind of expensive, though, so maybe just try cutting out certain foods and seeing if anything happens.

I started the third course and then stopped. My derm advised me that every time gets less and less effective. Oh well.

Perhaps you need to try essential oils (like te tree oil soap) and antioxidants (like roobois tea) and for the huge bastards, Salicylic Acid on the spot (like Vichy normaderm Concentrate and Effaclar AI) and avoiding inflammation with ibuprofen.

If you have a case out of hands, take some tetracycline (500mg twice a day) for two to three months and after that follow a regimen.

Remember that nothing works immediately, and when you use a product, too much does not make any difference.
