Jojoba Oil from a different place?

I got originally got this jojoba oil from the company 'desert essence' - I bought this from Holland and Barrett in the UK. I went back a few weeks ago, yet the supply had changed and now it was simply Holland and Barrett 'Jojoba Oil'. The product is 100% Jojoba Oil, but it smells fairly different than before. Is it the same product, and is it ok to use?

I guess it sounds silly but I just don't understand why it smells different.

The two companies may source their jojoba from different regions. Currently, Argentina, US, Israel, Mexico, Peru are the main cultivators, with Argentina providing 50%. The soil and weather can impact the smell/flavor of just about any plant.

Jojoba oil doesn't spoil, so as long as you are ok with the way the new oil smells, it should be fine to use.
