I live in a very hot climate, should I still use moisturizer?

I live in a very hot area, and was wondering if it was still necessary to moisturize, or it would be better to skip it to prevent over oily skin?

I live in in the middle of Arizona, one of the hottest states and I'm doing fine. I admit I get the occasional "Why are you shiny?" or "Why is your skin oily?" but it doesn't really bother me.

I recommend using the moisturizer as the regimen really requires all 3 steps. If you are afraid of oily skin use some oil absorbing sheets.

Yes!! Or sunscreen. :)

Peter Thomas Roth has an "Uber-dry Sunscreen" cream that has a lot of the benefits of a moisturizer while also protecting your skin. It sinks in realllly good so you can't tell if you have anything on.

You could also try a moisturizing gel instead of a cream.

Don't put too much and yes! sunscreen helps too and again, don't put too much.

A large pea sized amount! Haha idk if that sounds weird grammatically...

like a big pea. Not a teeny one :)

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, I'm gonna use the moisturizer then, as it seems to be a very important step.
