Iv Been on the Reguime about 3 months now, one week ago i swapped over from oxy on the spot to Dans Bp. I like Dans Bp, but i seem to have broken out alittle. I have been assured this is normal. M question is iv got a big zit onm cheek, it has a white head, it is very itchy, its been there for about 3 days now! i have been appling the bp and aha on top. This has made it quite red around the Edges. Is this normal? the zit looks reall ready to pop, Should i do it? or should i just leave it and keep doing what im doing?

In the past when i have sqeezed spots the have turned ver red and angry, and ended up twice the size!

Is it doing any harm just leaving it to heal itself??

Please help!

I dont think BP can get rid of zits once they are white. Just pop it and apply BP. I always do that with my white heads on the regimen and my face still looks amazing!

How to pop a pimple

If you must pop, pop safely

Common advice is to let your body heal a pimple on its own without popping. But in the real world, some people absolutely refuse to go around with a bulging white zit for the world to see. Plus, when done properly, popping a pimple can actually be beneficial to the healing process. Reserve this technique only for pimples that are absolutely begging to be popped—all the way at the surface and white. After a shower is best, when the skin is supple.

Disinfect a needle with rubbing alcohol. A basic sharp sewing needle is a good choice.

Gently prick the pimple’s surface.

Take two tissues and wrap your index fingers with them.

Squeeze from the sides, confidently but gently, using a down-and-in motion. Don’t force it. If the pimple is ready, it’ll pop. If it doesn’t, leave it be. Be sure to stop if clear fluid or blood starts to come out.

Continuing to work at a lesion that is not ready to be popped can lead to scarring. Walk away from the mirror!

It is very important to leave deep, painful lesions (cysts and nodules) untouched. Do not attempt to pop them. Instead, a fantastic option for these types of lesions is to see a dermatologist who can administer a cortisone injection which will bring down swelling and potentially reduce or eliminate scarring. Often dermatologists will accept a quick “emergency” appointment for such matters.

there's a couple safe ways to handle it.

the way i've always done it, is i've used baking soda. I would make a paste out of it, when combining it with water, and then put it over the infected area. I'd wait about 15-20 minutes till it dries up, and then I'd just wash the area with hot water. Usually what happens next, is when I towel my face, with basically NO pressure, just your normal toweling off, the whitehead simply comes out. By the next day its usually nothing more than a pink mark.

different ways of handling this, just sharing my experience. But if it is really bothering you, then thats just making things worse, and you would be better off to pop it. So be safe, and be careful.
