Which moisturizer should I use?

Recommended Posts

Here are the moisturizers I have and their ingredients;

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Water, Glycerin, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Petrolatum, Isoproply Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Oat Flour, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Chloride, Dimethicone.

Cetaphil moisturizing lotion

Purified water, glycerin, hydrogenated polyisobutene, cetearyl alcohol and ceteareth-20, macadamia nut oil, dimethicone, tocopheryl acetste, stearoxytrimethylsilane and stearyl alcohol, panthenol, farnesol, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, acrylates/c10-30 alky acrylate crosspolymer, sodium hydroxide, citric acid.

Complex 15

Doesn’t list any ingredients.

Which one should I use and are any of them bad for my skin?

Spot causin crap :D (Comedogenic)

1. Isopropyl Palmitate - Very

2. Cetyl Alcohol - Slightly

3. Sodium Chloride (Salt) - Extremely! :D

Spot causin crap:- (Comedogenic)

1. Cetearyl Alcohol + Ceteareth 20 - Very

2. Tocopherol - Slightly (If its similar to Tocophryl Acetste)

3. Stearyl Alcohol - Slightly (The Stearoxytrimethylsilane is a scarily large word too!)

Thats what causes the spots but it doesnt say how much of these things are in the moisturiser so u cant completely trust this stuff...anyways..

So the Cetaphil is more gentle to the skin apparently but ive heard good things about Aveeno products, so hopefully sum1 can comment on that:?:

I use Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15, it works perfectly. I'm not sure if that's what you have but make sure it says non-comedogenic somewhere on it.
