Hey guys...so i have a question about hydrocortisone cream....

I have several pesky dry spots on my face that no amount of moisturizer will make go away. My face is overall very oily during the day, but there are just those few spots that are very red and dry (weird). So I asked my derm. about this, and she said to put hydrocortisone cream on it.

We got some 1% hydrocortisone (over the counter cream)...and i have been applying it. I don't use it every single night. I only use it until the dry spots go away (they eventually come back though rrrg).

I had been reading on the handy dandy interweb about how hydro. cream is bad for skin because it thins it and that it shouldn't be used on the face. Now i'm confused if they are talking about prescription cream or the over the counter stuff.

So my question is: is 1% hydro. cream safe to use on my dry spots?

Oh and what about lips? because i have really dry lips and no chapstick seems to work, and the cream does a good job.
