What happens if you've been on spiro for a long time and decided to get off it in a couple years? Does your acne come back even worse? I want to get on spiro....I just don't want my acne to be even worse in a couple years when its time to come off it.... any suggestions...experiences?

Like Lipslikesugar 22 I also am curious as to what happens when you stop spiro. I am wanting to fall pregnant in the near future and wondering if my acne is going to come back worse when I stop. Or worse yet, will it affect my fertiity??!! Has anyone had any experiences in stopping and their acne coming back worse?

Exactly! Me too! In my mind it defeats the purpose if it will come back full force or even worse. Not worth it to me. But Idk. ANY INPUT MUCH APPRECIATED!

I've heard it comes back when you stop.

It can actually make you MORE fertile. Women with PCOS, who had not ovulated in years suddenly start to ovulate when taking it, so be careful while on it. This is actually in a lot of articles about spiro.

I second that. My cycle was really messed up before I started Spiro (the longest I went without a period was 5 months). When I started taking it my cycle was 55 days, then it dropped to 33, now it's at 20. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it changes any further. I'd like it to go back to 33, dagnabit.
