Selective Dryness

Recommended Posts

Hello again.

I've got a question for all you accutaners...has anyone had the drug only dry out areas where acne exists but not anywhere else? I started 80 days ago (right now my skins as good as it's been in a along time). When I was having breakouts I noticed that my skin got really dry around where my acne was; however, when the pimples subsided, so did the dryness. I never used moisturiser on my face and now my skin just feels soft but no longer dry (the same cannot be said for my lips ;) ). Coincidentally I don't have pimples on my face (for now  ) Has anyone experienced this type of "selective dryness"?

Yes, it's nothing to worry about. You've just been lucky.

I had that 2-3 months in. and my lips went back to normal condition aswell. Now (after accutane), lips have gone very dry again!
