I will be 50. What's right for me?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have agonized over my acne scars. It could have been much worse, believe me.

I want to work on smoothing them out. What would you suggest? I really want something that will work, not something that the media says will work. I know about lasers. But from what I have read here it's not the way to go. Does dermarolling really do the trick if I stick with it for a year? Can I do it alone at home, or with my wife who is a nurse? Can I increase skin damage or create hyper-pigmentation? I really want to look my best. I hope you can help me. How can I truly tell if there is any improvement since I'm afraid to view my scars on a camera?

Thank you.

Jake Shake.

It's hard to say without knowing what you look like. I think your best bet is to read through many of the posts from people who have had things done, and just see what sounds best for you.

Its very unlikely dermarolling will cause any side effects. Ive done it 4times and havent experienced any.

Have you honestly seen any positive improvement inn your scars? Is it a promising procedure?
