Soft, healthy, acne-friendly foods?

Recommended Posts

I'm getting all of my wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday so I'm going to be eating soft for a bit. As tempting as it is to use this as an excuse to sit around eating a bunch of ice cream and jello and whatever, I'm going to try and keep things as healthy as possible.

So, any suggestions?

I don't know what else is good.

It is found in almost all health food stores in the US, but is very very difficult to locate outside of the US.

Soft healthy foods:

Avocados

Bananas (depending on your sensitivities)

Homemade soups or broths (gazpacho is pretty easy)

Green smoothies

Blended salads

Or, you could make some sort of concoctions. I like making chocolate pudding using avocado, banana, cocoa powder, almond milk and stevia.

Soups. Especially pureed veggie and bean soups. Get a stick immersion blender to make it easy to puree in the cooking pot. They are cheap.

And add sweet potatoes to the lists of nutritious soft foods. Steamed or baked.

My son had "6" wisdom teeth removed at once! (And yes, there really can be more than 4! They are called supernumerary teeth.) So for a short while he lived on mashed potatoes, refried beans, yogurt, applesauce, pudding, and jello!
