Smoothbeam by Nurse Practitioner?

Recommended Posts

hi guys,

I'm getting my first smoothbeam treatment next week and i am hoping that it will work for my indented scars. the treatment at this office is done by a nurse practitioner and not by the dermatologist himself. is the nurse as well trained as the doctor? has anyone had theirs done by the nurse rather than the doctor. i didn't worry about it until my mother began to really worry about the nurse not having as much experience.

please help me out with any advice or personal experience.

also, they are charging me $200 for the first full face treatment and then $799 for 3 treatment package for partial treatment. is this about the average price range?

You really need to ask the nurse practitioner what his or her training is - anyone else is just guessing.

Prices vary depending on where you live. There is a smoothbeam thread with information about what people paid. Try to do a search on "smoothbeam" on the board.
