silicone sheets for hypertrophic scars

Recommended Posts

has anyone tryed treating hypertrophic or keloid acne scars with silicone sheets? my son has terrible raised scars all over his back and chest from acutane, the acutane either didn't work or kept the skin from healing so the whole time he was on it his back and chest were constantly oozing and bleeding, had to change the sheets every day. Anyway it cleare up his face but his back and chest were left completely ravished by these raised discolored scars. I have seen the silicone sheets online and was wondering if they worked for anyone, they are a big investment and it would be good to hear from someone who has used them for this type of acne scar. Thanks

thanks, i will look into the gel.

these sheets will work to flatten a raised scar. try scaraway brand, the best, very cheap, and efficient.

if a hypertrophic scar is VERY small, does that mean kelo kote or silicone sheets have a higher chance of reducing its size and maybe flattening it completely?

How does the sheet work? does it stay on for a long time?

And what if it isnt a scar but actually restylane?

Because im on accutane now and i had pretty much restylane in both my cheeks.

There are now several bumps (half pea size) that have the same color as my skin except from two of them that are more white. Can i make something worse with the sheets?

Silicone sheets are ineffective against white scars

There is a FDA Class 1 Medical Device called Invisiscar on the Internet at www.scarout.com that has a 95% success rate treating Hypertrophic and keloid scars.

Read the Scat Treatment Infomation and judge for your self. There are also "before and after pictures".

Good Luck!

Olay regenerist night recovery moisturizing cream, will take about a month for it to go away. I swear to God it will heal.
