I couldn't figure out what section 2 post this in, so it's probably in the wrong section. :(

Anyways, my face seems to be the clearest right when I wake up in the morning, then it just go's downhill later into the day. Like you can barely see the red marks and the skin tone on my face is even looking right when I wake up in the morning.

I just simply don't understand this.

Anyone have any theories behind this?

OMG i have the same problem! I stopped washing at night since I got sick of looking at my face in the morning and thinking "Oh hey, this looks better" and then getting to the evening and thinking "WTF? IT WAS GOOD WHEN I LEFT THE HOUSE! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" while I shake my fists angrily at my own less than pleasing reflection.

My skin got better once my face got used to being washed only once a day, less red and much less hassle. It also made me feel happier knowing that I wasn't under control from my skin, so it felt liberating to take a break from tending to it 24/7, I think the lack of caring and stress has helped significantly.

My guess would be because when you sleep is when your body repairs it self. So when you wake up, your fresh like, ya know. But as the day goes by your body doesnt have the same amount of strength to clean and repair. Makes sense to me

I see what you're saying. We should be all be placed into a deep coma for a year or so. The sleep will cure our acne and we'll also get to star in a poor remake of Futurama.
