Question for those doing regimen ONCE a day...

Guest RoseAlly

Hey, everyone!

So I'm only doing the regimen once a day at night because my skin is 99% clear. However, even just doing it once at night still makes my skin dry and flaky!

I still wash my face each morning and apply moisturizer, but I was wondering if it'd be more effective to skip the morning wash? When I do wash my face in the morning, I feel all the products I'd applied the night before come off. Would it be more effective to let the BP sit on my skin for 24 hours instead of just 12... and then less irritating to my skin since I'm only washing once a day as opposed to twice?

Thanks for any feedback you can provide!

I'd say stick with washing and moisturizing both morning and night. Do you have any jojoba oil? Adding some to your moisturizer in the morning might help with the dryness. Or maybe you just need a different moisturizer.

I, personally, only apply about 3/4 of a pump of BP at night (after cleansing), and I cleanse and use Cetaphil moisturizer with a few drops of jojoba oil in the morning, and it works great for me.

Just out of curiousity, have you always only applied 3/4 a pump of BP at night? Or did you start with twice a day, gradually work your way up to using more BP and then over time decrease to once a day and decrease the amount of BP being used?

For the first few months I was on The Regimen, I followed the instructions and applied it twice a day, working my way from using a small amount to using almost the full amount. It was only after I was staying clear that I worked my way back down to the amount that I use now.
