Last night around the same time I did (for the first time) a 35% glycolic acid treatment. I applied it, left it on for about 3 1/2 minutes, washed it off with cold water, then put on a lot of moisturizer. It burned pretty bad and my face was REALLY red afterwards but I expected this. I woke up this morning and there was minimal flaking but there a lot of my face was still EXTREMELY red and was covered in these tiny brown streaks and it looks awful. It doesn't seem like they're going to "peel" off and I'm really worried they're going to stick around for awhile. I was hoping my face would be good to go by Monday. I'll post pics in a bit. Any advice is appreciated.

I personally believe that chemical peels do more harm than good. There's nothing much you could do for now since the damage is done. I'd say apply some aquaphor or aloe vera, let your skin heal.

The brown lines will be gone though, so don't worry about them.
