Miss determined 0 Share Posted February 24, 2010 I can't afford organic meat right now, only eggs and when fishing season comes, fish. I need to start my anti-candida diet, but I was wondering if a vegetarian anti candida diet was possible? Has anyone tried this? Is there any other protein sources besides meat and dairy? (I also eat no wheat, grains, gluten)
rifkah6 5 Share Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) Hard but possible. Off the top of my head, pulses, beans and fermented soy (tofu) would be the best sources. Edited February 24, 2010 by rifkah6
venam 1 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Buy normal market meat if you can't afford grass-fed beef.
gMARIAs 9 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Yes, it's possible - it just means you'd better hope you're eating TONS of veggies in addition to those eggs to meet your daily calorie needs.Eat seeds and nuts, too. 1/4 cup of raw almonds has about 6g of protein and almost 200 calories. You can also try pumpkin seeds.
