fish oil/zinc/evening primrose - how long to see results?

I've been on zinc for 6 weeks, evening primrose oil for 5 weeks, and fish oil for 3 weeks.

My skin is still recovering from one of the worst breakouts I've had in a few years, which began a couple weeks ago. It's still in pretty bad shape and I'm still getting pimples where I would normally not get any.

I was also bad because soon after starting all of the supplements I tried a new sunscreen and new foundation at the same time so one of those could very well be the culprit. I try not to try so many new things at once so I can see how my skin reacts but I gave in to the temptation.

Anyway, out of curiosity, how soon did you start seeing improvement with any or all of the above supplements? I'm just wondering when to throw in the towel. I'll try my hardest to stick with it for at least a couple of months, though.
