Ive recently just landed an interview with Buckle..a clothing store. and Im worried about the interview because I know that appearances really matter as does personality.. and my skin really gets in the way of that..both appearance and personality..bare minerals takes away the redness of my red marks but doesnt totally hide them.and im totally psyching myself out...

So how should I approach the interview.. i dont even know what to wear..

I just wanna know what type of jobs everyone has...to give me some ideas of where to apply

i work for the body shop, everday i advise people on skin regimens and products even though i have acne. in my interview i went in with a mentality that acne wouldnt hold me back and it didnt.

If you show your acne doesn't bother you and be confident then others wont hold it against you.

good luck getting a job ;)

I work in a gameroom/arcade of a family eatery/entertainment center. Fun job, my skin wouldn't really affect it because the lights were always dim. So I would not really care who saw me.

I work as a waitress at a priory :D and sometimes worry that people will not want me to serve their food because of my skin but to be honest they are all old men there and with make up my skin doesn't look too bad HOWEVER I am training as a beauty therapist hoping to sepcialise in skin care and while I feel like a fraud giving advice I explain that my acne is hormonal and whilst a good skin regieme is essential and helps - it cannot cure it. I also feel that as a beauty therapist I will be more approachable because I do not have perfect skin and I can relate to clients with skin worries because I have been there and done that - If I were having a facial I would want it to be by someone who completely understood.

Theres my theory - its keeps me from stopping something I love. :) x
