Dotty1 11 Share Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) Hmm, this just shows all of us that we should always research any supplement we put in our bodies, whether it is prescribed by a natural practitioner or a licensed doctor selling pharmaceutical drugs. I won't touch any products that come from Asia, especially China. It is always in the news that they lace their products with acrylics or other carcinogenic or poisonous substances to save money. In the last five years, I've read that they make infant toys out of very toxic substances and vendors use cardboard as a filler when making dumplings, etc. They put a poisonous filler in infant formulas to save money (it made 35,000 Chinese children sick?). In short, they are always doing something harebrained to save money. And the same goes with the pharmaceutical drugs. Many times the pharmacist gives a customer the wrong pill. Or general practitioners prescribe patients a medication that is being recalled. Research. Always research before putting something in your mouth.
