Is it possible to OD on omegas?

For breakfast I always have buckwheat grits with two spoonfuls of chia seed gel, hazelnuts, and goji berries, and now I have 1 tbsp of hemp oil and a glass of hemp milk on the side. I also eat about 4 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and have more hazelnuts or almonds and chia seeds throughout the day, and have canned wild salmon or tuna 2-3 times a week.

Is it possible to get TOO MANY omegas and make acne worse?

Also, I started taking one capsule of Carlson's Cod Liver Oil last week, and since then I've been getting weird hive-like zits in places I don't normally break out. The pills were new and refrigerated. I broke out in big pimples the last time I used fish oil, too. I'm wondering if this is a clue to the cause of my acne, as most people seem to see good results from fish oil. Why could this happen?

I've read before that it's all about balancing the omegas. You may be getting way too much of omega 3 compared to 6 and 9.

That's the weird part. I get a ton of Omega 6 from nuts and Omega 9 from olive oil, but when I add in fish oil my skin goes bonkers with big abnormal zits. I have the same problem with flax, but not with hemp. That's why I'm confused. :wacko:

Ha, I have NO idea. The omegas have always confused the hell outta me also, so I stopped trying to understand =P
