Does anyone know of any reputable support groups, organizations, or pyschologist, online or in person, that are focused on psychological issues caused by suffering from acne. Is there like an AA type group, or anything that could offer help? I've only found sites that are trying to sell products along with their "help".

Any resource that can offer advice, therapy, or counseling on helping cope with all the emotional issues that arise from having acne.

But not those that are marketing products or services.

Thanks

I think a regular psychologist might be able to help. They're trained to deal with a wide variety of issues.

That's what I figured. I am starting to see a therapist. Although, I think there ought to be support groups to supplement counseling, or at least some kind of organization that supplies resources for people about acne as it relates to mental health. I used to go to CODA and Al-Anon, and they really made a positive impact in my life. I wish there was this type of support groups for Acne sufferers.

Thank you for your response :]
