Vitamin A softgels topically?

Recommended Posts

So I have very dry skin, somewhat mild Seborrheic dermatitis and moderate acne. The dermatitis I can somewhat control with steroid cream and the dry skin I can control with cetaphil for the most part, but recently I bought vitamin A softgels and started poking one with a needle and applying it to my face. Reason being, I heard vitamin a was one of the most important for the skin but is barely utilized when taken orally. Good idea or bad idea?

Barely utilized when taken orally? Isn't Accutane = vitamin A? Well I think you should try it and get back to us :]
