got my blood test results back. Anti-streptolysin O (ASO) and Thyrotropin (TSH) highly out of WHACK

So I called the lab today and most of my results are back. Blood sugar, testosterone, free testosterone, IgE etc were all normal.

ASO (Anti-streptolysin O O) and TSH III gen (Thyrotropin) were highly over the average. I was told to contact experts. What do you guys think? Am I getting closer to my acne and sinus problems?

edit: some info from google: "The hormone thyrotropin, which is also known as thyroid stimulating hormone or TSH, is produced by the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland regulates thyroid hormone levels by secreting more or less TSH. Consequently, low levels of TSH are seen in hyperthyroidism, and high levels are seen in hypothyroidism. Usually, blood levels of TSH can detect abnormal thyroid function."

Therefore I have problems with the thyroid gland...

No, I'm muscular and I gain weight easily. I have also high levels of creatinine in my blood, that might be the cause.

TSH was 8+

then you probably have hypothyroidism...

are you going to take meds or hormones for it? did you dr recommend anything yet?

i'll be getting a bunch of blood test in a month- i have the same problems has you blocked nose/excess mucus often + acne

i've long suspected hypothyroidism as the cause

additionally you can try taking your temperature under armpit + under tongue with a digital thermometer if's it is around 96 or 97 then its even more likely that you have thyroid problems

This week I also had some blood work checked as I suspect either my throid or hormones in general are at play with this massive breakout i;ve been suffering from for the past 4 months. I won't find out my results till Monday at the soonest, but I post back with them just for comparison and such. let us know what the doctor prescribes and of course any progress that might have on your acne.

Thanks. I've been doing massive research on this and acne is very common among people who have thyroid problems. I will get Free T3 and Free T4 tested on Monday to find out whether it's hypo or hyper. I haven't seen a doctor about this yet, the lab guys just told me the numbers are much higher than they should be.

Will post my results on Monday. This could finally be it...

Got the results of my blood work today......everything normal and good. On the one hand I'm relieved because I didn't want to have to take corrective medicine, and on the other I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is causing this terrible breakout I'm suffering from. I hope my allergy tests gives me the answer.
