it didn't cost me....

1. Initial meeting costs---none

2. How regular meet---every 2-3 months

3. Catch up meeting costs---none

4. costs of your prescriptions---none, because im a college student

5. hidden costs--- none

since you live in UK, it will not cost you to have an appointment to dermatologist.

and if you are a student, you will get free prescription.

It really does depend on the dermatologist you go to. Don't forget that you can shop around and negotiate with doctors. Most are willing to work with you if you try.

I didn't have health insurance for almost 2 years and I called around and found a dermatologist that I liked who was affordable. I live in NYC, so you would think I'd be stuck with a pricey doc. Instead, he charged $60 per visit and that's it. Coritsone injections, Chemcial peels, consulations, etc were all included in that price. He even would load me up with free samples so that I wouldn't have to fill the prescriptions, or give me these discount cards to give to the pharmacy that would make specific brands only $10.

Now that I have health insurance I feel like I'm re-paying him (or at least my insurance company is). When I look online at my insurance website, the amount that he tries to charge the insurance company and then the price they actutally agree on is just insane!

Hope this helps!

18.60€ (27 $) every visit. Every 4/6 weeks check-up. Depends on what kind of medication, if it's topical then it ranges from 15€ to 30€ while the antibiotics & Accutane are free.

In the US, if you have insurance, depends on your plan.

Last year, I had a $20 copay for an appointment.

Most prescriptions on my plan are $10/month.

My insurance plan has gotten worse this year.

Now I pay 20% of the cost of an appointment.

Checked cost of Solodyn on my plan - $100/month.

Currently have the 3 month discount card, so only paying $10/month.

Wouldn't take it without insurance - that would be $600/month.

Ouch.

Appointment every 3 months.
