facial flushing after showering

Recommended Posts

My face always seems to flush after showering....

Why, and how can I prevent this??? Perhaps take a colder shower??

Honestly, I don't think you can. The only thing that you can do is not to use *hot* water on your face; otherwise, you just have to wait it out. If you entire body is warmed by the shower, it will cause vasodilation everywhere, hence the flushing. Just give yourself enough time to allow it to pass/fade.

Perhaps it's the shampoo you use? I use to either break out or have a facial flush whenever I stepped out of the shower because of my previous shampoo. If that's the case, perhaps try something gentle like Head & Shoulders classic clean? I find it doesn't break me out and is rather calming on my skin.
