Homemade sunscreen?!

I have read that zinc oxide is good for red marks and I need a good sun screen since I'm on Accutane. Could I buy some plain old zinc oxide and mix it with my Cetaphil? Please help! Thanks

Jesus can anybody answer my question? I don't give a shit whether you like me or not because I want to wear sunscreen in January. I hope the elephant method was a joke because a sane person would not do that so please somebody just help me!

hey warrior, i read a post a few months back about this very topic. There was a member who bought zinc oxide powder and added that to their daily moisturizer. Im not sure of the amounts needed but yes, homemade sunscreen is possible.

I live in Southern California so it is sunny pretty much all year.

I feel sorry for you. You don't get to enjoy the snow, the slush, the ice, the cold, the.......:cry:
