Well, I feel for you mine are pretty close to the same as yours. Looks like they are some icepick/rolling combo, not 100% on that though. One of the best threads I have seen so far is this: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/15mm-derm...te-t240357.html take a look at that.

IF I had some downtime where I could do this then I would do the dermarolling thing and try and get some Retin-A, unfortunately I don't have any available downtime atm, and I will not go out with my face looking even worse than it does.

Thank you for ur reply. But I've did erbium laser twice and the dermotoglist told me we have to do it like 7-8 times for better result. and the erbium laser is quite expensive its like $350 for each. do u think mederma will be useful to clean these scars?

I am going to move this to the Scars subforum. You'll receive more responses there.

Hi

Acne scars are usually not medically treated unless they are really severe or disfiguring. Most of them usually fade over time or shrink to appear like freckles.

One scar is usually not disfiguring, true. But most who get scars get quite a few, so the conglomeration of a bunch of smaller scars turns into one big disfiguring mess. So yes, acne scars are quite disfiguring. I wish everyone who propagates this "fade over time" crap would themselves "fade over time" so we can stop dooping everyone with a skin disease in order to make money off of them.

Mederma is supposed to help with redness, but that's only part of your issue.

I am hardly an expert on scar treatment but from reading, it seems like most treatments seem to require multiple passes, including lasers, subcision, TCA Cross, dermarolling. I am researching a doctor in my area (Dr. Rapaport). He says "lasers don't lift the skin". If your skin has depressions then you need to untether those bonds. Have you researched subcision? That seems inexpensive, and very direct.
