Drizzler's Day Of Eating

Recommended Posts

Great job Drizzler!

Eating good food others have prepared is even better than eating things you make yourself (which is why I promote sharing food by cooking for friends who will in turn cook for you :)) and I agree, if you'd open an healthy food bistrot people would pay you to eat that yummy stuff.

So you don't cook your quinoa?

Danny - yes I do cook it, but I still pre-soak it. Though I have sprouted quinoa and eaten it raw before.

I know this is your day of eating, but thought I would post a picture. Here was my late lunch today, kind of an appetizer for dinner:

Leg of lamb in crockpot. 3-4 lbs of lamb, couple of beets, carrots, parsnip, onion, garlic, some herbs and seasoning to taste.

Haha awesome man, I'm happy to have people posting their food porn in here! I love lamb, that looks/sounds fantastic!

Have you by chance ever seen this website: http://www.grasslandbeef.com/StoreFront.bok

They have an amazing selection of grassfed and pastured dairy and meats. I for one am going to start eating grassfed liver a couple times per month!

Yeah, I have come across that website, haven't bought from them though. I cannot really afford grass fed beef all the time (college student living off scholarships), so what I do is I buy organ meats from a local market (grass fed offal, mostly liver) and eat that about once a week. I also buy New Zealand lamb which is all grass-fed, hormone free, etc. It is cheaper than grass-fed beef, costs $4.50 per pound in Sam's club, so I eat it quite often. You might want to also check these sites:
