MDM 1 Share Posted December 3, 2009 I am an obsessive skin-picker. Although I do not get many blemishes, I will pick at non-inflamed ones and blackheads (which I have a lot of). Therefore, I have tons of little red spots and some larger scabs on my face. I notice that it takes quite a while for these spots to heal while using drying agents. Right now my method is Neosporin and band aids all over my face at night but I feel like it negates the blemish prevention that benzoyl peroxide provides (because it doesn't allow for as much oxygenation and makes my skin oilier, oil being the biggest cause of my blemishes). Is Neosporin a bad idea for the face in combination with benzoyl peroxide? Are there other products that will heal my scabs quicker without causing oiliness and causing more blemishes?
