Recommended Posts

Is this normal?? Im on 30mg a day, and i have been taking it nearly a month. Ive just noticed my skin has become less oily and my lips are drier, thats it. My skin has cleared a little bit, bit im still getting breakouts on my chin. I thought my skin wud really dry out. What cleanser and moisturiser should i be using if my skin isent too dry??? Please help. xx

My skin isn't too dry either because of the low dose (26 days) my derm told me that if the dryness wasn't a problem then I shouldn't apply any moisturizer

I'm in my 3rd month and my skin is still not extremely dry. I'm at a mid point where I'm not oily or super dry and I love it. Sometimes I don't even have to moisturize and I hardly ever use oil blotting sheets anymore.

Good luck on your course

Same thing is happening with me. I'm on 30 mg a day and I haven't even noticed anything different at all. My lips are BARELY dry. Hopefully it just means that we won't experience harsh effects like others do, but maybe it means that its not working. I don't see how it couldnt work though.

Ive been on accutane for 9 weeks taking 80mg a day.

My skin is far less oily and my lips are starting to dry out a bit, but my face isnt dry AT ALL. I only have a little bit of dryness around my eyelids and my nose...
