DKR and Retin-A Micro

Recommended Posts

I just ordered the DKR and was wondering if it was okay to use it along with the Retin-a Micro Rx I have. I know it says that you really shouldn't use any other products, but I've been seeing results from the Retin-A (I've gotten over the intense peeling and redness) so I'd like to keep using it, but if it's not compliant with the DKR, I won't.

If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it!

Read here first: http://www.acne.org/faq.html#prescriptions Since you are on a prescription, check with your doctor.

Dan really feels if you are going to do the Regimen, it works best if you follow it exactly as he has it set up, using the products he recommends. If you don't, you're not really on the Regimen.

If you decide to do it, you'll have to alternate them since bp and Retin-A will negatively interact if applied together. Most of the time it's recommended to use Retin-A at night (since sunlight degrades it) and use bp during the day. Keep in mind though, that the "what to expect" page is only for people who are following the Regimen precisely, so your results may or may not follow it.

Good luck!
