Dairy free sunflower spread

I have never eaten any personally, but I can tell you that you that it will be like pure omega-6 EFA. So you will have to watch your omega 3/6 ratio closely.

I use diary free sunflower spread and it works out fine for me. Very tasty. I always used to use margarine rather than butter and I can't really tell any difference. I find it works fine for cooking too.

Check out ghee (clarified butter). Ghee is the result of slowly cooking butter and removing the milk solids (proteins). It's basically butter oil and has a high smoke point when cooking.

It's a short chain fatty acid that is metabolized very readily by the body.
