Sugar slowing down the healing process?

Hello again,

after hearing that sugar slows down healing processes, I thought it might be wise to find out how much I should be taking.

I normally eat 2-3 pieces of fruit a day, and I personally wouldn't consider that a lot - Well, at least until now. Basically, my red marks aren't disappearing, and I eat quite well and get enough sleep. I just can't understand why they won't leave, so maybe sugar is playing a part?

This does relate to naturally occuring sugars, right? Because I've completed cut out processed sugars.

Thanks everybody.

Sugars from Fruit shouldn't have an effect on your skin.

I have around 6-7 pieces a day and it's fine.

Thanks for your answer! I've switched to Berries for a while, as I hear they contain less sugar than your average fruit. It's just an experiment nonetheless.
