Would using a moisturiser stop benzoyl peroxide from working on my acne?

Recommended Posts

If using benzoyl peroxide on my skin for acne;

Would applying a moisturiser afterwards stop the accelerated skin aging caused by dry skin?

Would applying it before or after the application of benzoyl peroxide stop the BP working on my acne?

Which should be done first, moisturiser or BP?

i was stressed bout this aswell, my doctor said its fine to put a layer of moisturizer over the bp, so now every night i apply my duac once daily gel, wait about 15 minutes then slowly rub it into my face not intensely rubbing, thats bad, dont do that. You need the moisturizer after every application or else your face gets tight and dry which causes more breakouts

You can put a moisturizer on after BP but you should wait at least 10 minutes. The BP won't work as well if you don't and using a moisturizer while on BP is a very good idea!
