Tips from experience

Hey! I thought I would share experiences I've had and may or may not be helpful. I've had severe acne(90% on my forehead) and have tried nearly every over the counter product(since they all contain salicylic acid or benzoyl, it's pointless to keep buying different brands) and been to a few skin specialists. They give me antibiotics, which doesnt seem to clear it up for me, and longterm antiobiotics probably don't benefit the body or acne. I've spent more money like everyone else and it's a pain! So I have been experimenting in different ways and recently I found a solution. From all the topical products I've used from Rx to over the counter, I've made a conclusion that when my skin adapts to whatever the topical soap, cream, etc. It only gets worse! So I tried mixing up my daily topical uses in hopes of confusing the skin, lol. In the morning, I use a natural sea salt soap I purchased from ebay, and at nights I used Sulfur soap.(On a note, I only put the soap on the acne itself and not my whole face because I also wanted to see if it was the topical soaps itself causing acne). I've been doing that for 4 weeks now and my face is clear. Also I believe nuitrition is just as important so I did research and found out spinach, honey, and blueberries are powerful in healthy skin and healing the skin so I eat them everyday, 7 days a week. I also had stress, mostly from the acne itself and college so I hit the gym and took care of that issue. I've tried so many experiences on my own and it would be a waste to tell about them since it's obvious, it didn't do the trick for me. I have very oily skin where the acne forms, so I don't believe "stress" is the only reason I have acne, because I've had stress in the past and no acne. Experimenting can be a pain because you don't want to make acne worse, but it's always worth trying something new, getting input from others, and having a positive attitude that someday you will find a solution that works for you!
