NIACIN... How much?

I've recently come across the forum regarding Niacin and it seems to be extremely effective and successful. I went and brought myself 500g non flush niacin and have been taking two tablets with meals a day. It dose seem to be working well, my skin is healing fast but not only that it seems to be glowing.

I'm curious to how much others are taking and how much we are allowed to take. I googled it for some information and came across......

Side Effects

Large doses of niacin can cause liver damage, peptic ulcers, and skin rashes. Even normal doses can be associated with skin flushing. It can be prescribed as a treatment for elevated total cholesterol and other types of lipid disorders, but it should only be used with medical supervision due to its potential for severe side effects.

The Food and Nutrition Board at the Institute of Medicine recommends the following dietary intake for niacin:

Adolescents and Adults

* Males age 14 and older: 16 mg/day

* Females age 14 and older: 14 mg/day

Does anyone know anymore information on how much is too much?
