SS, I'm still having luck with the Clenia. Not sure if a derm would prescribe it just for oily skin without any breakout issues. But perhaps just starting with the cleanser?

It's been almost a week since I've had to blot my face, and I still am in disbelief. There's another cleanser called Ovace (I think that's how you spell it) that my derm gave me samples of. Perhaps you can see your derm and try some samples of the sodium sulfacetimide cleanser and see how your skin does on it?

If you read some of the reviews of Clenia on this site, other people vouch for its oil-busting properties.

besides isotretinoin (accutane), there is nothing, prescription or OTC, oral or topical, that I personally found effective in controlling oily skin.

The next couple of topicals I'm about to try out are:

- Zinc PCA (in the mail, from skinactives.com)

- Nobiletin sebum control cream (in final testing stage from sanafela.com)

Thanks, I'll give those a try at some point if this sulfacetamide doesn't do the trick
