Lemon Juice applied topically

Recommended Posts

I've been using lemon juice for about a month now hoping it would reduce my hyperpigmentation on my face and maybe even clear my clogged pores. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any reduction in brown or red spots, and my pores are becoming even more clogged than they were before I started using lemon juice. Since lemons are described as exfoliators, is it safe to surmise that my skin is just cleaning itself out?

Lemon on the face just burns, and does nothing more. I tried and it was horrible. Sadly it never made any difference in my skin condition. It is healthy if you eat (never oneself), and maybe thats why many peoples think, that it's good on the face, but it's not. It's just a legend and does nothing with acne.

Lemon juice should not be anywhere near the face!!!! It will actually cause uneven skin pigmentation and burn your skin horribly. Stop using lemon. Take vitamin C orally instead.
