I am going to start taking the following, and have already included some with success.

Taurine (1000 mg 3x per day)

Beta Carotene (20 mg)

Zinc (50 mg)

Chromium (600 mcg)

I will also be taking a B-Complex but the site I order it on has a lot of information on the doses and I am confident in my purchase. I was wondering about Beta Carotene though, is it really going to help with my acne? I was thinking Vitamin A might be more effective (albeit more dangerous).

I know for a fact the Taurine and Zinc are fine. Not sure about the others.

You can go quite a bit higher for Taurine and Zinc and still be fine.

I have taken 100mg-150-mg of Zinc for the past few months and I think it helped some but not much.

My Taurine intake varies everday since I dose it in a powder and I also get about a gram of it for 20g of protein powder. I try to get at least 2g but I have taken around 5-10g and never felt a whole lot from it. It is great for your heart though which is why I take it.
