Is it worth me trying light therapy?

Recommended Posts

I want to try it, but the lamps are expensive and I don't want to spend that much money for nothing.

I've tried:

Hundreds of OTC acne products

Various antibiotics

Doing nothing

None of these have really helped.

Could light therapy work?

Also where is the best place to buy a lamp? (UK)

I would say yes. It's helped for me.

Find a place that offers a money back guarantee (I used enlux bulbs, but other places offer trial periods too). Then you have nothing to lose.

I'd definitely recommend it. like you, i'd tried various things, that never worked.

Light therapy has DEFINTELY worked for me.

I personally bought a Beauty Skin Light from amazon for £170, but if you don't want to pay that, you could try ebay where you can buy hand held lights for around £25. Personaly i'd go with the Beauty Skin Light. with the other, you'd spending way too much time using it. one 15 minute session will do with the BSL
