Switching from 10% BP to the acne.org regimen

Pretty much all I have known when it came to treating my acne (which I would categorize as moderate; I have it near my jaw line and chin + forehead) was clean and clear 10% BP. And although it was somewhat harsh, I found it worked and held on to that fact. However, after looking at this site, I'm trying to find something better/possibly quicker/etc.

My regimen consisted primarily of BP and I have more scarring than

Acne at this point. I try to stay away from milk.

So my question is, will going from such a high BP level to the regimen's

BP level have no effect, especially since my skin is so use to the 10% BP?

What would you suggest?

Also, are there any tips/products to help with typical acne scars?

2.5% BP is just as effective against acne as 10% BP, so if you switch, the only difference should be that your skin will be less dry and irritated.
