How long after you apply the BP should you moisturize?

Recommended Posts

Does it matter that I tend to wait 30 minutes after cleansing to apply BP and about 30 minutes after that to moisturize? The reason I do this is because I feel like my skin is not completely dry and settled after cleansing to apply the BP. Same goes for the moisturizing, I like to wait until I feel that the BP is completely settled in before I moisturize. Is it bad to wait this long in between applications as opposed to the reg 10-15 minutes?

No, that's fine. Most people just aren't willing to willing to wait that long. Ten to fifteen minutes is about the minimum for how long you should wait between steps.

Hi I am from Australia and have just ordered this product. I just want to know if after the 10-15 minutes waiting time for the benzoyl peroxide gel to settle in do you wash it off or and then put the moisturizer on?

No, you leave the BP on. Just cleanse, wait, apply BP, wait, and moisturize twice a day. Basically, which the exception of the time it takes you to wash your face and the ten minutes or so afterward, you should always have BP on your face.
