Is baking soda safe for everyday used?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys Im just new here. I really want to know if its safe to use a baking soda in face as facial wash everyday? I used it every night before I sleep, and after I washed it I put heavy cream moisturizer in my face so that it wont dry my skin. Im just wondering if it can irritate my skin and promote more pimples and acne.advice please!thanks:)

if u wanna use it everyday you're gonna have to use a 50/50 toner with water and apple cider vinegar to balance the ph of your skin.

I know a girl and her sister using baking soda for daily facial cleanse but they make sure they use it very gently. They adjust their way of doing it and its frequency to where they don't feel any reaction from their skin.

They mostly wash briefly for 15-20 secs or less. One of them do this once a day while the other girl do this once every other day. So make sure you figure out how this will work on you. It's trial and error to figure out what works for you.

Oh by the way, the results they said were great. It made their skin flawless smooth. Good luck!

Please read the following post on pH and why your skin prefers acidic products. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/pH-import...-p-t144725.html The product you wish to use is alkaline and will damage your acid mantle and increase the risk of breaking out and irritation. If you really want to use baking soda, mix it WITH apple cider vinegar to adjust the pH so you don't damage your skin in the first place. If you apply ACV afterwards the damage is already done.
