Skin "Purging" Phase- Any Tips To Speed It Up?

Recommended Posts

So I recently switched skincare, and my skin is going through a small little purging phase. My chin and forehead cleared up (it's been 5 days) but my cheeks, which were prone to whiteheads, either have the whiteheads disappearing or coming to the surface. Is there anyway I can speed up this process? How long could it last?

Purging is a sped up process. It's bringing the gunk that might have lingered under your skin for a while to the surface, which is why you're breaking out. Just keep doing what you're doing, and let the purge run its course.

I've never heard of purging lasting a year. Maybe a few weeks. Your new treatment is just going to help bring everything to the surface. Then you should start clearing up.

depends on how many "inside pimples" you have. I started Dan's regimen a 2 months ago and i'm still purging. I', guessing it's because my last regimen was more covering and stopping pimples coming out than curing! so yeah bleh my last two months on DKN have been hell looks like someone has run out my face with a truck but i'll stick to it for another month or so before i consider other options
