dermaroller on acne scar

Recommended Posts

that's picture of my cheek when it looks worst under fluorescent light.

it's hardly visible when i look at the mirror under incandescent light or

take picture from far away but it looks very obvious under fluorescent light.

my skin color returned to almost normal but these dented scars are

bothering **** out of me. it was very bad about 1.5 years ago so i had pro fractional laser

treatment 3 times last year. these dented scars were all gone for few days

right after the treatment even though skin was still red. good if it stayed like that.

but as those wounds healed, these indented scars returned. after 2 pro fractional

treatment, i complained doctors how the laser didn't do anything for my scar.

then he told me he would do one more time with much higher power.

oh, god.. it almost burnt my skin. he went so deep, my forehead and cheeks were

super red for few month and stay brown for almost an year.

whatever.. i didn't go back to see him cuz it wasn't doing anything for me.

well.. i admit it got a little better but not the result i was expecting. my scar

looked more like 20% better at max today compared to an year ago b4 i've got

pro fractional laser treatment. anyway, i was reading this dermaroller and it's

great for acne scar and stretch mark(i have some on bicep and near tricep area

cuz of severe weight training few years ago). i am thinking about buying one

and try. how many mm one should i be using. according to description, 1.5mm to

2mm is recommended for stretch mark and indented acne scar. i was thinking about

starting with 1 mm though. is it ok to jump start from 1.5mm? can i use these

rollers multiple times if i clean them with alcohol after each use or do i have to

throw them away and get new one after each use? is there some precaution i need

to know about this b4 i try? what kind of realistic result can i expect in next 3 months or so?

hey,

your acne scars doesn't look bad ;) What I would do is use the 1 mm roller once just so you can get used to it then use the 1.5 mm. Make sure you numb yourself and you have some sort of Vitamin C cream to put on yourself after you're done rolling. Expect to see some improvements after a month. If this doesn't work too well for you, I would recommend you to check out my topic "Divine Beauty ECIT", I have some pretty deep acne scar and now I'm definitely seeing some improvements!

Nevertheless, best of luck to you.

will i bleed a lot and look like a monster for few weeks after these treatment?

cuz i definitely can't afford that now cuz i have life involving more ppls than last year

when i was stuck at work all the time(even it was embarrassing customers asking

why my face is bloody). also do i have to take few weeks off from exercise?

i run like 7 miles a day and i sweat like a cow afterward.

ur face will have a sunburn effect for about 2 days or so after this you skin will be normall no blood although some people go harder on the dermaroller and draw blood hope this helps

ok. i just placed order on 1.5mm dermaroller.

i am gonna try this on my acne scar and my stretchmarks on arms.

hopefully, i get some noticable and visible result in next 6 months.

if it doesn't, i will try that other stuff. i really don't care spending

few hundreds $$$ as it's still a lot cheaper than laser treatment

i've got for little result.

so it's ok to do weight lifting and running(i sweat like crazy)

day after micro needling, right?

***important question***

no one replied me on this yet.

is dermaroller reusable if i clean it with alcohol after each use

or do i have to despose of them and buy new one after 1 use?

it will state if its reusable or not when you buy you can get one off ones or ones that last up to 3-6 months. i do alot of excerise and i think it slows it down but i swim ive had to stop. think about it if ur face is getting red from excercise its probably not wise, you could do u weights or small work outs space them apart hope this helps

You should not workout the day after you have rolled, wait for at least a day to pass before sweating or working out. When you do get blood over your needles, it is ok to dip them in alcohol for around 25-45 minutes.

ok. i've got mine today. i think i will try this 1.5mm dermaroller tonight after i finish workout.

and i will probably not do any work tomorrow just for safe measure.

do i need numbing cream for this or no? also what vitamin cream do you recommend for this?

i was using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion that contains Multi-Vitamin Facial Treatment with Alpha-Hydroxy Acid. is it ok to use this one or should i get vitamin-c lotion?
